We have a received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following: 

In relation to the Teletraffic LTI 20.20 Speedscope, could you provide the Home Office Type Approval testing procedure for this unit? Could you also identify the distance where other vehicles are shadowed within its field of view which would prevent the accurate recording of speed; and where the measurement was taken at 274 metres?

Could this provide false measurement by interfering with the beam spread?
