Under the Freedom of Information act, I would like to request the following information:

Please provide the amount of funding received from the government for the following tax years (2020 to 2021, 2021 to 2022, and 2022 to 2023).

Response

I confirm that we hold the information you have requested. The Social Security Advisory Committee is a statutory independent non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions. Schedule 5 of The Social Security Administration Act 1992 sets out the arrangements for the Committee’s funding. The amount allocated to the Committee for each of the three years in question has been £350k.
