The Commission has announced the initiation of an investigation, in the Official Journal ref 2019/C 269 I/01 dated 12 August 2019, concerning the dumping of certain flat-rolled products of stainless steel, originating in the People’s Republic of China, Indonesia and Taiwan.
Product description:
- stainless steel flat-rolled products
- whether or not in coils
- including products cut-to-length and narrow strip
- not further worked than hot-rolled
The following products are excluded:
- products, not in coils, of a width of 600mm or more and of a thickness exceeding 10mm
This investigation could result in anti-dumping duty being imposed at a future date.
The investigation takes effect from 12 August 2019.

Interested parties wanting to make submission or requests to be heard (within the short timescales) should refer to the Commission’s notice, for instructions.
Interested parties may request in writing (within 4 months of the publication of this notice) information on the imposition of provisional measures.
Provisional measures may be imposed no later than 8 months from the publication date.The Commission will provide information on planned provisional duties 3 weeks before their imposition.
This investigation will be concluded no later than 14 months from the publication date.
