This report examines:

  • if standards of conduct in public life have improved since the Committee on Standards in Public Life’s 1st report in 1995
  • what works best in promoting high ethical standards in organisations that provide public services
  • what needs to be done to continue to embed high standards in public life

It also includes guidance to help organisations establish and maintain high standards.
