Details

The State of the Estate in 2013 to 2014 report was laid before Parliament on 23 March 2015. It describes the size and cost, efficiency of use and sustainability of property for central government buildings. It assesses performance over the financial year 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2014 and since the start of the current Parliament (May 2010).

The civil estate includes all central government property, except for the:

  • Defence military estate
  • National Offender Management Service (NOMS) custodial estate
  • NHS estate
  • Defra rural estate
  • Foreign & Commonwealth Office overseas estate
  • Home Office overseas estate
