In this report the Independent Advisory Group on Non-ionising Radiation (AGNIR) considers the available scientific evidence from studies of people, animals and cells relating to health effects from exposure to strong static magnetic fields. Such fields are used in certain industries and scientific research facilities, and in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

This 2008 report contains health-related conclusions and research recommendations based on the scientific evidence.
