If you comply with the conditions in this regulatory position statement (RPS), you can store PAS 107 certified clean cut tyre shred and chip at a port before you export it, without an environmental permit.

  1. We have amended the conditions for waste types and stack sizes and included additional conditions for security and monitoring. We have extended the date that you have to apply for a permit to store tyre shred and chip until 29 January 2021. We have extended the expiry date of this RPS until 30 June 2021.
