Summary of discussion

Minister Jayawardena welcomed all attendees to the meeting.

The department provided members with an update on the United Kingdom’s future trade relationship with India and on our application to join CPTPP.

Members held a wide-ranging discussion on trade and the environment. The group was provided with an overview of the Northern Ireland Protocol also.
