Details

This page compiles research carried out by a consortium led by Ipsos MORI, completed in 2020, to assess the impact of the programme as set out in the National Broadband Scheme (NBS) evaluation plan.

In addition to the seven State Aid evaluation questions, the research has provided an assessment of compliance with the State Aid judgement in the delivery of the programme (as required by the State Aid evaluation plan), as well as an overview of the wider impacts of the programme.

This report builds on a 2018 report on the economic impact and public value of the Superfast Broadband Programme.
