Foreign nationals in the UK affected by a terrorist attack can contact their embassy, high commission or consulate, who may be able to provide information or assistance.
Support for international visitors in London
The Victim Support International Visitors Project provides free emotional and practical support for visitors from other countries who have been victims of crime (including terrorism) while visiting London.
The support available includes help with the loss of travel documents, accommodation, medical treatment, accessing funds and translator services. To access the service, contact the International Visitor Advocates on 020 7259 2424.
Support for international visitors outside London
If you are a foreign national directly affected by a terrorist attack and you are not in London, you can still access local victim services that can provide you with practical and emotional support. Visit the Victims Information Service to find your local support team.
