I write in response to an email you sent to me on 7 February 2020. You requested estimated details of the number of licence plates which will be held on the Vehicle of Interest lists on the National ANPR Service (NAS). Your request has been handled as a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Q1. I would like an estimate of the number of Licence Plates which will be held on the Vehicle of Interest lists held on the NAS.
I am an independent regulator of surveillance camera systems appointed by the Home Secretary. I do not hold the information which you have requested. You may consider a separate request to be made to the Home Office under the Freedom of Information Act regarding this request.
