I write in response to an email you sent to me on 21 February 2020. You requested the following information:
- 1. From the year 2016 to 2018, how many people of interest to the police (serious crime suspects, missing people etc.) was recognized in Kings Cross? How many of them are the correctly spotted? What sort of people are they? (mostly crime suspect from the watchlist?)
- 2. From June 2015 till December 2019, how many people of interest to the police (serious crime suspects, missing people etc.) was recognized in South Wales police? How many of them are the correctly spotted? What sort of people are they? Where exactly have they been recognized? (in postcode)
- 3. For the people being recognized in Kings Cross between 2016 and 2018, how many of them are women or BAME? How many of them are falsefully searched?

I am an independent regulator of surveillance camera systems appointed by the Home Secretary. I do not hold the information which you have requested. You may consider a separate request under the Freedom of Information Act (FOI), to be made to the Metropolitan Police Service and British Transport police in regard to the information that you requested at points 1 and 3 above. You may also consider a separate request to South Wales police regarding point 2 above.
If you are dissatisfied with this response you may request an independent internal review of our handling of your request by submitting a complaint within two months to the address below, quoting reference SCC/FOI/03/20/OA. If you ask for an internal review, it would be helpful if you could say why you are dissatisfied with the response.
