This report sets out the Department for Transport (DfT) response to the Green Book Review published by HM Treasury in November 2020.

It includes case studies of how TAG has been used to:

• capture and analyse local context
• present this data in business cases for transport investment
• support local economic growth objectives

TAG provides information on the role of transport modelling and appraisal, and how the transport appraisal process supports the development of investment decisions to support a business case.
