Details

A peer review of the Oxford Global Projects (OGP) research on updating the evidence behind optimism bias uplifts for transport appraisals.

It examines the OGP research to ensure:

  • the research performed by OGP is methodologically sound
  • the findings can be incorporated into DfT’s transport analysis guidance (TAG)

UCL School of Management conducted the peer review on behalf of DfT.

TAG provides information on the role of transport modelling and appraisal, and how the transport appraisal process supports the development of investment decisions to support a business case.
