Details

The Tailored Review of the Great Britain China Centre (GBCC) took place between November 2018 and June 2019. It concluded that the GBCC continues to perform an important function in the UK-China relationship by making a positive contribution to UK priorities in China and representing good value for money for the taxpayer.

The GBCC is a non-departmental public body established by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1974. It works to strengthen the UK-China relationship by building trust and supporting talks between government, judiciary and policy makers on important rule of law and reform issues.
