Details

This supplementary analysis from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) presents analysis of people notified with tuberculosis (TB) in England from 2018 to 2021.

This analysis also discusses:

  • prevalence and associations with social risk factors (SRFs)
  • TB risk in people with SRFs
  • associations of SRFs with TB clinical characteristics and treatment outcomes TB

This analysis is intended to inform and support Tackling TB in inclusion health groups: a toolkit for a multi-agency approach.

It is also an extension of analyses already presented in the TB incidence and epidemiology in England, 2022 report (data up until the end of 2021).

Presentation slides have also been created to include graphs and figures of TB in people with SRFs published in the Tuberculosis prevention in England, 2022 report (data up until the end of 2021).

The slides also inform and supplement Tackling TB in inclusion health groups: toolkit for a multi-agency approach.
