Details
The Teaching and Leadership Innovation Fund (TLIF) was an investment to support high-quality professional development for teachers and school leaders in the areas and schools in England that needed it most.
The TLIF evaluation reports provide learning about effective and impactful continuous professional development (CPD) for teachers and leaders in England. This can inform the decisions of future funders, CPD providers and school leaders sourcing CPD.
The findings contributed to the development of subsequent teacher CPD policy and programmes within the Department for Education, specifically the approach to the development of the Early Career Framework and the reformed National Professional Qualifications.
The ‘Teaching and Leadership Innovation Fund (TLIF): fund-level evaluation’ report evaluates the effectiveness and impact of the TLIF fund overall.
The 8 individual reports evaluate the effectiveness and impact at a project level of:
- The IOP Future Physics Leaders (FPL) Project
- The Ambition Institute’s Transforming Teaching Project
- The EdDevTrust and CCT Accelerate Project
- Edison Learning’s NAHT Aspire Project
- GA/ASE Critical Thinking for Achievement project
- Tom Bennett Training (TBT) Project
- Teach First Leading Together Project
- The TDT CPD Excellence Hubs Project
