Details
The provisional local government finance settlement for 2024 to 2025 proposes to introduce a new Recovery Grant, worth £600 million. This will be distributed to places with greater need and demand for services (we have used deprivation as a proxy for this), and which are least able to fund their own services locally. This technical note provides a full explanation of the methodology underpinning the Recovery Grant.
