The review and accompanying report present evidence on the implementation of these regulations, with an assessment of operational benefits and the extent to which the regulations have met their objectives.

This review concludes with recommendations on whether the regulations should be retained and what steps should be taken in the future.

The evidence has been obtained from a consultation with relevant operational and policy leads associated with the creation and use of the regulations, and from reviewing available operational examples.
