Tenth Annual Japan-UK Nuclear Dialogue

The tenth annual Japan-UK Nuclear Dialogue was held virtually on 13 and 14 December 2021 to further strengthen cooperation between the UK and Japan in nuclear energy.

Details

The Prime Ministers of the UK and Japan held a summit meeting in April 2012 and produced a joint statement. The ‘Japan-UK Framework on Civil Nuclear Energy Cooperation’ was annexed to the joint statement. It states that Japan and the UK decided to launch an annual dialogue at senior level to strengthen bilateral cooperation across the full range of civil nuclear activities.

The tenth annual meeting was held virtually on 13 and 14 December 2021.
