Warning notices to academies in the South West

Notices issued to academy trusts about academies that are not making necessary improvements or academies judged inadequate following an Ofsted inspection.

Notices from Hannah Woodhouse, Department for Education (DfE) Regional Director for South West England, to academy trusts about academies causing concern.

The schools causing concern guidance provides details on the action that regional directors may take when academies are underperforming or have weaknesses in safeguarding, governance or financial management.

A spreadsheet listing all notices about underperformance issued to academy trusts is also available.

Notices and letters published before September 2022 are available in a separate collection of legacy notices.
