  1. Updated to reflect the change to isolation criteria that came into effect on 16 August, the additional requirement to collect and process data relating to vaccination status and the removal of DWP from list of data processors.

  2. Updated with correction: any payment made under the Test and Trace Payment Support scheme is subject to tax, but not (as previously stated) National Insurance contributions.

  3. Updated to reflect the extension of the Test and Trace Payment Support scheme to include a qualifying parent or guardian of a child who has been told to self-isolate by either NHS Test and Trace or their education or childcare setting.

  4. Updated to reflect that local authorities may now use Test and Trace Payment Support data for wider benefit accuracy checks, where they meet specific criteria, and when making a payment under the scheme, local authorities will validate bank account details to ensure they align with the applicant, for anti-fraud purposes.

  5. First published.
