This document contains test scenarios for software suppliers that want to submit drug and alcohol core dataset P treatment data to the national drug treatment monitoring system (NDTMS).

This document covers details of:

• testing process
• agency codes
• test scenarios for adults and young people in secure settings and community

The scenarios in this document should be implemented along with the:

• CSV file format specification document which defines the format of the CSV file used to input the core dataset into NDTMS

• technical definition document which provides the full list of fields that are required in the CSV file and the verification rules for each item

• geographic information document which provides geographical information and the relevant codes related to drugs and alcohol action teams (DAT) and local authorities, to use in NDTMS submissions

• business definitions document which provides explicit definition of each of the fields NDTMS collects to ensure data is consistent - there’s a separate definitions document for each of the datasets; adult drug, adult alcohol, young people and secure settings
