Details

The Environment Agency’s position statement on household water metering calls for metering to be accelerated where it is most needed, i.e. in water stressed areas, with a target for the majority of homes in such areas to be metered by 2015. Over the longer term it expects metering to form the basis for charging for water across England and Wales.
