The Home Office Immigration and Nationality Directorate (IND) received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) requesting the following:

  • All the minutes and notes on the decision to refuse the footballer Jason Scotland with a work permit to allow him to play for Dundee United.
  • Also, all the information on the reasons behind appointing the panel who made the decision and the ultimate review

Home Office IND Response

The notes and minutes in the Annexes below are released in relation to the above request.  Names of individual panel members have been removed in accordance with obligations placed upon IND under the Data Protection Act.
