This Rapid Evidence Assessment (REA) was commissioned by the DFID to review the evidence of ‘what works’ to prevent and mitigate conflict. This exercise reflects DFID’s commitment both to ensuring that existing evidence is accessible and appropriately informs policy and programming and future research addresses evidence gaps identified based on a comprehensive assessment of the current body of literature.
