This publication brings together existing annual statistics to summarise the state of the agricultural industry as at September 2019. The compendium contains evidence and analysis on: Agricultural Industry Structure, Demographics and Trade; Farm Economics and Accounts, including removing Direct Payments; Farm Performance; Agricultural Productivity; and Environmental Land management. The research and analysis in this compendium are taken from a variety of sources.

The Future Farming and Environment Evidence Compendium has adopted voluntary application of the Code of Practice for Statistics.
