This document features the General Lighthouse Fund’s annual report for the year ended 31 March 2009.

The General Lighthouse Fund was created by statute in 1898 to provide funding for the 3 General Lighthouse Authorities (GLAs): Trinity House (TH), Commissioners of Northern Lighthouses (known as Northern Lighthouse Board) (NLB), Commissioners of Irish Lights (CIL). Today the GLAs are multi-skilled organisations providing a highly technical and specialised professional service.
