Details

This impact evaluation uses data from administrative sources and DBT surveys to assess how receipt of DBT export support impacted survival, goods exports, employment, turnover and productivity of firms up to three years after the support was received.

This is a follow up report to the previous Frontier Economics study, which investigated the existing evidence base on the impact of trade promotion activities. It also investigated how this could be strengthened through quasi-experimental econometrics.

This impact evaluation was peer reviewed by Dr Dragana Radicic, University of Lincoln, to provide independent assurance of the methodology and the headline findings.
