2019 academic study analysing the impacts of the European Union-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA). The analysis focuses on the economic impact of EVFTA on the United Kingdom and Vietnam.

Like the UK’s impact assessment, this study uses computable general equilibrium (CGE) modelling to assess the impacts of a trade agreement across business sectors and consumers, and captures the overall net impact on the economy.

It was carried out by Paul Baker and David Vanzetti from International Economics Consulting Ltd. The study was commissioned by the Department for International Trade (DIT) to inform DIT’s impact assessment of the EVFTA agreement.
