This document details the eligibility criteria and other information relating to the issue of a special medal, known as the Iraq Reconstruction Service Medal (IRSM), to recognise service by civilians and others involved in the reconstruction and transition to democracy in Iraq.

This Command Paper was laid before Parliament by a Government Minister by Command of Her Majesty. Command Papers are considered by the Government to be of interest to Parliament but are not required to be presented by legislation.
