Details

In 2017, a representative sample of 1,806 businesses were interviewed initially, and 20 follow-up interviews examined issues in more depth.

The survey looked at:

  • the experiences of Mid-sized businesses in dealing with HMRC
  • perceptions of current tax administration
  • attitudes towards tax compliance
  • awareness and perceptions of recent tax policy
