This document contains the following information: The Fourth Annual Report and Resource Accounts on the work of The National Archives and the Fourth Report of the Advisory Council on National Records and Archives 2006 to 2007.
The National Archives covers both public records (government and the law courts) and private archives, and it was established in 2003 from the merger of the Public Record Office and the Historical Manuscripts Commission.
This is the orgnisation’s fourth annual report and accounts which details its activities and performance against key targets during the year 2006-07. Also included is the fourth annual report from the Advisory Council on National Records and Archives.
This paper was laid before Parliament in response to a legislative requirement or as a Return to an Address and was ordered to be printed by the House of Commons.
