1. 1. Summary of FOI request for the following information
This is the response to an FOI request from Powys County Council, seeking the number of properties transferred from Council Tax to Non-domestic rating as a consequence of criteria reached for self-catering establishments which were moved during this financial year.
2. 2. Response
I confirm there have been fewer than five occasions where the number of properties transferred from Council Tax to NDR, between 1 April and 30 September 2017, have been as a result of the criteria reached for self-catering establishments. This figure is based on properties entering the NDR list with a reason code of 02 (previously domestic) for Powys 1, 2 and 3. In line with our official statistics publications, the count has been rounded to prevent disclosure.
