Details

This final impact assessment sets out the costs of amending The Party Wall etc. Act 1996 under provisions in the Electronic Communications Act 2000, to allow notices and other documents required under the Act, to be sent by electronic means only if both the giver and recipient agree.

This policy change is in line with government policy on e-enabling and e-commerce.
