The Social Security (Electronic Communications) (Amendment) Directions 2020

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Directions in accordance with regulation 32ZA of, and paragraph 2 of Schedule 9ZC to, the Social Security (Claims and Payments) Regulations 1987 [footnote 1].
Citation and commencement
1.–(1). These Directions may be cited as the Social Security (Electronic Communications) (Amendment) Directions 2020.
(2) These Directions come into force on 5 May 2020.
Amendment of the Social Security (Electronic Communications) Consolidation and Amendment Directions 2011
2.–(1) . The Social Security (Electronic Communications) Consolidation and Amendment Directions 2011[footnote 2] are amended as follows.
(2) In paragraph 2, after sub-paragraph (a)(xii)[footnote 3] insert—
“(xiii) State Pension Credit.”.
(3) In paragraph 2(b), after “Disability Living Allowance” insert “or State Pension Credit”.
(4) In paragraph 2(c), after “Employment and Support Allowance”[footnote 4] insert “, State Pension Credit”.

S.I. 1987/1968. Regulation 32ZA and Schedule 9ZC were inserted by S.I. 2003/2800. S.I. 2020/456 inserted a reference to State Pension credit under the State Pension Credit Act 2002 into Schedule 9ZC. ↩
