Home Office Research Report 38 is an assessment of the Voluntary Assisted Return and Reintegration Programme (VARRP) for the 2005 programme year (1August 2005 to 31 July 2006), conducted to fulfil European Union funding conditions.

It is based on an analysis of interviews with diverse VARRP stakeholder groups, with a focus on return to Pakistan and Zimbabwe.
