On the agenda this week:  Chief Medical Officer, Professor Dame Sally Davies, highlights the challenge of liver disease in her first annual report, showing that England is one of the few EU countries where such a major cause of preventable death is on the increase; and the adult social care outcomes framework for 2013/14 reflects new White Paper priorities like tackling loneliness among older people, and quality of life for people with dementia.
