Details

The countervailing duty on biodiesel from Argentina was imposed by the EU on behalf of the UK and the other member states. The Secretary of State for Business and Trade transitioned the countervailing duty to continue applying in the UK after the transition period.

   Commodity codes in 'Goods subject to duty' section in Taxation Notice 2020/26 updated to more accurately reflect the current UK tariff system for the goods subject to the measure. Annex 2 added listing the commodity codes prior to the update.
