Trade remedies notice 2023/30: suspension of anti-dumping duty on ceramic tableware originating in the People’s Republic of China (new exporter review)

This notice is published under regulation 94B and 71(3)(b) of the Trade Remedies (Dumping and Subsidisation) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019.
It suspends the collection of the anti-dumping duty applied by taxation notice 2020/30 (anti-dumping duty on ceramic tableware and kitchenware originating in the People’s Republic of China) on the goods listed under ‘Goods subject to suspension of duty’ produced by the overseas exporters in the table listed under ‘Overseas exporters: additional codes’.
1. Overseas exporters: additional codes
The collection of the anti-dumping duty on ceramic tableware originating in the People’s Republic of China is suspended for:

2. Goods subject to suspension of duty
The suspension applies to the goods described, or imported under a commodity code specified, below.
2.1 Goods description
Ceramic tableware and kitchenware, excluding ceramic condiment or spice mills and their ceramic grinding parts, ceramic coffee mills, ceramic knife sharpeners, ceramic sharpeners, ceramic kitchen tools to be used for cutting, grinding, grating, slicing, scraping and peeling, and cordierite ceramic pizza-stones of a kind used for baking pizza or bread.

3. Imposition date
This public notice takes effect, and the suspension applies, from 21 December 2023.
