The publication considers the equality impacts of the reforms included in the Trade Union Bill on the 9 protected groups set out in the Equality Act 2010. It analyses the relevant demographics of union members, and considers the wider benefits to the general population. It finds that there are no significant or discriminatory impacts on the 9 protected groups resulting from these reforms.
