A scheme designed to address key skills gaps faced by the UK space sector, aiming to fund key training opportunities to remove barriers to the sector's growth.

Details
The Space Sector Skills Survey 2023 Report highlights the key skills gaps that the UK space sector faces. To address these barriers under our Inspiration Priority, we are making up to £1.7 million available under this fund between now and 31 March 2025, in which the UK Space Agency expects to award grants in the region of £250,000 to £500,0000. Additional funding may be available subject to business case approvals.
Please complete and submit the application form, with attachments, by email to education@ukspaceagency.gov.uk. Please quote reference UKSAG24_0001 on all correspondence.
All applications must be submitted by no later than 5pm GMT on Friday 29 March 2024.

In section 2.2 of the Grant call guidance for applicants HTML attachment, an error has been corrected. It now says "This will be a competitive process in which the UK Space Agency expects to award grants in the region of £250,000 to £500,000".

In the Grant call guidance for applicants attachment, under the Anticipated skills gaps of the future workforce subheading, the wording about funding available and associated costs has been updated. An updated version of the Grant budget template has been attached.
