To apply for transfer of refugee status, you must meet these criteria:
- you are a recognised refugee by a country that has ratified the European Agreement on Transfer of Responsibility for Refugees
- you are lawfully resident in the UK
- a transfer of responsibility is deemed to have occurred
There is no application form. All requests must include evidence that you have met the criteria for transferring refugee status.
