Details
This Policy Framework details the principles to be followed by practitioners when assessing requests for case transfer to a new geographical area. It details the action required from both the home and receiving areas to ensure the exchange of all risk information; establish an effective communication framework between transferring areas, including clarity about roles and responsibilities; and to ensure cases are prioritised and transfer is expedited. The Policy Framework also details the actions needed where risk is considered to have increased for a case and consideration is needed to the re-allocation of the case to an alternative officer/team.
