Details

You can apply for the tree health pilot (THP) scheme as an individual or as part of a group. A group application will provide a collaborative response to a local tree health issue.

This guidance explains what you must do for a group application if you are a:

  • lead facilitator
  • group applicant

You should also read and follow the THP scheme guidance and the THP scheme terms and conditions.

  1. Tree health pilot scheme group application: what a lead facilitator must do guide updated. Section 'How to apply as a lead facilitator' now includes: 'You must also submit a THP application form (part A and part B) for each group member. You will receive a THP application form by email, following a successful pre-assessment site visit.'

  2. Lead facilitator and group applicant guide updated to show changes to lead facilitator role. The lead facilitator will no longer be the single agreement holder for the group. They will need to submit an application form for each group member, including themselves. Each group member will have their own agreement with the Forestry Commission and receive their grant funding directly.
