This report presents the findings of qualitative research into trial incapacity benefits reassessment, which started in the Aberdeen and Burnley areas in October 2010. It looks at customers’ views and experiences of reassessment and whether customers felt adequately supported during this process.

Ninety customers were interviewed. Findings from interviews with Jobcentre Plus staff working on the trial, and Atos Healthcare staff delivering Work Capability Assessments, are also included.
