Details

This study looks at 4 areas to assess the overall effectiveness of the trust port model of port ownership. These areas are:

  • Secretary of State for Transport appointments
  • relationship with DfT
  • stakeholder engagement
  • investment capability

A number of recommendations are made for improving the model. The study is relevant to trust ports in England and Wales.
