Details

This memorandum of understanding includes the UK and Switzerland’s commitment to:

  • continuing discussions about trade continuity before the UK-Switzerland Trade Agreement comes into effect
  • aiming to put in place mutual recognition of conformity assessment bodies in time for when the UK-Switzerland Trade Agreement comes into effect
  • conducting initial discussions about improving the UK-Switzerland Trade Agreement within 24 months of the UK leaving the EU
