Details

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero has completed a review of UKAEA. This began in April 2023 and concluded in August 2023. The review was carried out as part of the government’s Public Bodies Reform Programme.

The review considered the effectiveness of the UKAEA in meeting its objectives. It makes 12 recommendations across the 4 main review areas of:

  • efficacy
  • efficiency
  • governance
  • accountability
