Details

This document explains the provisions of the UK-Australia Free Trade Agreement in relation to customs, including:

  • rapid clearance of customs
  • faster decisions from customs on advance rulings
  • empowering small and medium enterprises (SMEs)
  • no need for customs brokers
  • simplifying customs processes

The agreement is expected to enter into force on 31 May. Once this has happened, businesses will be able to trade under its terms.
